busy weekend! - what recession???

the beauty of tidytees is that we are so very well priced, its just like purchasing a t-shirt over a couple of packets of fags! except our t-shirts shouldn't give you lung cancer!

this weekend only, free uk standard delivery.  after having to send out all garments this week with sticky taped postage labels we thought we would offer free p&p to all our uk customers!

other updates include new images for all car tshirts meaning you get a better look at the design before you order.

well its been a long time since i posted so i just would like to give everybody an update with what's happening :-d

2 weeks ago we moved premises, although it didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped, all seems to have calmed down now.  our telephone system is being replaced today so you can now call us again on 0870 803 1829.

our production team are ready and raring to go, and we are now fully up to date with all orders prior to the move.  we'd like to thank everybody for their patience during this time.

the move has actually made life a lot easier for me, and the rest of the team.  we can now focus more of our time on adding new designs on a more regular basis and giving our customers (you - yes you reading now!) better deals, faster delivery, and a more pleasurable user experience.

as a token of our satisfaction, we will be launching a free delivery week! - free delivery anywhere in the world!!!

with every hoody you order for a limited period we will be offering a free cd wallet with the same design on as you have ordered.  this is just to say thank you for your order, and to protect cd's everywhere!

i know what you do!!! you take a cd out in your car, and then pop it in the side compartment in your door, meaning it gets scratched!!!!!

the cd wallet can hold up to 24 cd's and will match the hoody you have ordered.  if you order 2 hoodies we send you 2 cd wallets...cool eh?

stick t-shirts now available

drawn by a local cartoonist my stick range of t-shirts give a great retro hand drawn feel to your clothing.  i've been sporting this particular design now for 2 weeks (obviously its been washed - which is no problem with my t-shirts!).

the looks you get when you go to the local supermarket is great... and even sold one there too!

great for clubbing, great for casual wear, and great all year round. 

there are a few dodgy designs that will only be applicable to certain people like a couple of dj t-shirts, they look great, and much better than some other riff raff that we see out there.  to start shopping in the stick man t-shirts category please click here

i'm moving!

sorry for the lack of updates yesterday i was out inspecting my new offices :-d

our moving date is the 30th august and i will announce our new address closer to that date.

our new premises are much larger than before, so we can continue to increase our production... cool!

we get a lot of people who change the colour of their t-shirts to suit their needs rather than choose the bog standard design.  however, i want to let you all know how bad a t-shirt looks when you get the colours all messed up!

the general rule of thumb is that if the design is black and the t-shirt is white.... (like picture 1), the print colour needs to be darker than the t-shirt other wise you end up with an inverted design like that pictured in design 2.

exceptions

1. if your design is text only, then any colours work well
2. if your design is line based. like our new vw camper t-shirts

white on black t-shirts

exactly the same as above, but in reverse. if the design your viewing is white and on a black tshirt, like the mustang t-shirt then when you choose your print colours go for a lighter print colour than t-shirt colour.

and there you have it! think about it when your choosing your colours, remember we cannot accept returns on t-shirts that you have changed the colours on (unless we've messed up!)

some great colour combination for dark prints on light t-shirts include:

• black print on white t-shirt
• dark blue on white t-shirt
• dark blue on light blue t-shirt (this looks so cool!)
• red print on pink t-shirt (yep, looks really effective - rather girly in fact!)
• pink on white

some great combinations for the dark t-shirt with a lighter coloured print on.

• white print on black t-shirt
• yellow print on red t-shirt
• cream on graphite t-shirt

well you get the idea!  any problems just speak to tidy on the live chat over on the left!

its competition time

well the competitiveness has taken over here at tidytees, myself tidy, and one of the guys who helps me out are in competition with one another. i've let daniel loose with the designing and we are now wanting to prove who has it in them to sell more t-shirts!

over the next few days i will be including a chart like the above to see who's designs we sell more of mine (tidy designs) or daniels (dans designs).  the reason i hear you ask.... well none really but we just want to see who's the best!

when you view a design on my website in the next few days it will either read "designed by the great tidy one" or "designed by dan" which ever design you purchase will be tallied up on a monthly basis to see who is the winner.

introducing flame t-shirts!

sound pretty cool (or the reverse of!) yea? well they are!  we have offered flame t-shirts in our promotions shop for some time now and have been very happy with their success.  i got my head down this morning and decided i would give my internet customers a chance to have a look at them!

the one above is my favourite (hence why its in this post), i thought ii was mighty original and unique, until i heard the joke on a t.v. program the other night... gutted!

there are a few "explicit" designs so young eyes please do not view, then again its probably nothing worse that you hear on the playground these days.

enjoy the flame t-shirts, add a bit of personalisation on to make it completely unique to you, and expect delivery within 7 working days.

i'm going to make another post today hopefully, but i'm not sure if i'll get the magic beans working on the website in time... but im trying!

i'm tidy, and this is my blog!

i live in this website from 9am to 5:30pm and you can contact me on live chat (over on the left!). i want to use this page to keep all of you up to date with the latest happenings with tidytees.

we have over 270 different designs, 3 t-shirt styles (mens, ladies, and childrens), 12 print colours, and a multitude of sizes... so really i look after about 1,000,000 different combinations of size, print colour and t-shirt style.

every so often i see a design that one of our lovely customers has ordered and i will take a photo and show everybody the combination!

i also want to use this space to keep daily updates on new t-shirts, different promotions and whatever else i can find useful!
